FAQ
Help! I've never been photographed before! How do I prepare??
This is probably one of the most frequently asked questions ever! Just breathe; you are not alone in this process. I've got you! It doesn't matter if it's been years since you've done this -or if you have never done this at all. I promise that I won't pose you like a robot. What I will do is give you prompts so that your smile and movement is natural and organic. I'm a visual learner and know that most people have to see it in action before they give it a whirl. I will whirl before you. By the end of our shoot, you'll be a pro and will have some incredible pics!
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Grand Junction, Colorado, and yes, I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it might require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. I have a ton of family on the Eastern Slope, so I travel there often. If you live in the Rocky Mountains or Littleton area, chances are, I can set up a shoot with you while I'm seeing family.
When will we get our photos?
I will send you a few sneak peeks just days after your shoot. Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 3 weeks (usually less depending on the season). You can download all the photos from your private, online gallery and also share it with friends and family.
How many pictures will we receive?
As you will see, I take a ton of photos. Your gallery will have around 25 edited images. After our shoot, I will go home and cull your images and then focus on the best and more significant photos to tell your story.
Can't I just get all the digitals?
The short answer is "no." As your photographer, I will choose the images that represent the best of you, and each portrait will be edited with great care and detail. I spend time looking closely at your images, making sure that every part of the images I choose represent YOU in all your light! Each image I take is a RAW image, meaning that it is of the highest quality and is unprocessed -which allows me to manage each image to create the best results possible. This process takes time, which is why I will only take your best RAW images from your shoot and work on giving you my best work.
